Northwest Area Command serves a population of 340,454 residents and covers 103.5 square miles.  The geographical boundaries include Kyle Canyon road to the North, the Spring Mountains to the West, Decatur and Jones to the East, and Charleston to the South.

This Area Command has 14.33% of all calls in the valley with 14.40% of all officers assigned to patrol division.  21.57% of the population lives in Northwest Area Command.
