LVMPD - Airport

The Airport Bureau of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has been providing McCarran International Airport with law enforcement support as required by Code of Federal Regulations (CFR 49, Parts 1540 and 1542) since approximately 1968. The officers assigned to this bureau respond to security breaches at controlled access points, answer calls for police service, investigate crimes, make arrests, complete reports, assist the traveling public, and protect VIPs. They also participate in mutual aid situations, special enforcement activities, and search and rescue operations. The small clerical staff mans the station to assist the officers, travelers and citizens with various requests.
