The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department crime mapping program provides public access to crime information for LVMPD's jurisdiction only. (This excludes, for example, Henderson and North Las Vegas.) The program is under development and may not be available at all times in the near future. The mapping database contains 60 days of information. This crime data is preliminary information given to the LVMPD by the public and has not been verified. There is always the possibility of mechanical or human error. Future investigation and analysis may change crime classification and other information. Accurate statistical crime information for comparison over periods of time is best obtained using the verified periodic Uniform Crime Reports located on other pages of this website.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department makes no guarantee, expressed or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or correct sequencing of the information. The LVMPD is not responsible for any error or omission, the use of, or the results obtained from the use of this information. All data visualizations on maps are approximate. Attempts to derive specific addresses are strictly prohibited. The visual presentation of data is provided to the public strictly as a courtesy and not as an obligation to its readers. This site allows you to view crime data by choosing basic crime types in proximity to an address, intersection, school, or other geographic points and areas of interest for a period of one to 60 days. You can print summary reports and maps using this data.

Any use of the information for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. A request to link to this site must be made in writing to the Sheriff, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. I understand that the information on this site is for informational purposes only. I understand that multiple incidents at a location and incidents that may not geocode will affect the number of incidents portrayed on the map and in tables and reports in the program.
