The LVMPD offers assistance to new employees and their family members through our Household Inclusion Recruitment and Employment (H.I.R.E.) program. As a Law Enforcement Agency, we recognize the role immediate family members and friends play in the decision to join the LVMPD workforce and attempt to address your family's vocational, cultural, educational, employment, religious and social concerns during your hiring process. Relocating to begin a new career in Law Enforcement is challenging, and our department will ease your transition by assisting your family members with any needs, questions or concerns.
