VALLEYWIDE AREA COMMAND BOUNDARIES 2025We are committed to making your neighborhoods safer and we want to increase the quality of our connection with our community. We are asking for your assistance in a shared responsibility in resolving the problem of crime in our community.

We have provided an online direct link to the police station that serves your area so that you can contact us with any of your non-emergency needs. To submit a Service Request, contact your area command below or complete the online submission form.

Services Provided at Your Area Command

Filing a crime report or traffic collision.
Certain copies of reports and records are available at area commands via credit or debit card payment only; cash is not accepted.

  • Background Checks to the owner of the record only.
    • For example, you can only obtain a background check for yourself.
  • Incident Crime Reports to victims of a crime only.
  • Traffic Accident Reports to owner of the record only.
    •  For example, if you were a driver or pedestrian involved in an accident or the registered owner of a vehicle involved in a traffic accident.

All other request for reports or records are provided by the Records and Fingerprint Bureau located at 400 S Martin Luther King Blvd., Building C. You can find more information on obtaining copies of reports by visiting our Records & Fingerprint Bureau webpage.

Medication Disposal Boxes Available to the Public

Each LVMPD patrol substation is equipped with a secure box for the anonymous disposal of unused, expired prescriptions or over-the-counter medications. Pills or capsules can be dropped off at any location. We cannot accept liquids, aerosols or needles.

About

Northeast Area Command (NEAC), once known as "Fort Mojave," re-opened at its current location in 2009. NEAC is bordered by Nellis Air Force base to the northeast, Sunrise Mountain to the east, E. Charleston Blvd. to the south and Pecos Road to the west. NEAC is responsible for the community of Overton as well.

  • Obtaining a copy of a police report (attorneys must obtain reports through LVMPD Records and Fingerprint at LVMPD Headquarters)
  • Local background check (for self)
  • Disposal of old/expired medications – Pills only, no liquids or needles.

- For incidents that occurred on public school property, please refer to CCSD School Police.

- For incidents that occurred within Henderson city limits, please refer to Henderson Police Department.
