Man Kills Ex-wife’s Girlfriend

On January 3, 2025, at approximately 4:44 p.m., LVMPD Communications received a report of a male stating he had shot someone near Blanton and Sacks Drive. Arriving officers observed two vehicles stopped in the middle of the street with two occupants who had been shot. Officers also detained 41-year-old Adrian Rodriguez-Guillen who remained at the scene. Medical personnel responded and pronounced one victim deceased at the scene. Another woman was transported to Sunrise Hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Rodriguez-Guillen approached his ex-wife and her girlfriend near Sacks and Blanton Drive. Rodriguez-Guillen exited his vehicle and opened fire on both women in their car prior to calling police.

This is an ongoing investigation being led by the LVMPD Homicide Section.

The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, can be obtained through the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
