Motorcycle vs Parked Semi-Trailers / Wynn Rd north of Mesa Vista Ave / Fatal # 25

 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On February 7, 2025, at approximately 7:07 a.m., a fatal vehicle collision occurred involving a single-occupied motorcycle that collided with three parked semi-trailers. Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated that a 1999 Suzuki GSX-R 600 motorcycle was traveling northbound on Wynn Road, passing the intersection with West Mesa Vista Avenue at a high rate of speed. The rider lost control of the motorcycle and collided with the left side of a parked semi-trailer. The rider was separated from the motorcycle and collided with a second parked semi-trailer north of the first. The Suzuki ran off the road right and damaged private and county property before striking a third parked semi-trailer. Emergency Medical Services responded to the collision scene and determined the rider had succumbed to his injuries, and was pronounced deceased.

This collision marks the 25th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction for the year 2025. This collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section.
