On June 24, 2025, a representative from the Clark County Coroner's Office notified the LVMPD Traffic Bureau that a passenger in the Mercedes-Benz had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The passenger’s death marked the 83rd traffic-related fatality in LVMPD's jurisdiction for the year 2025. This collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section.

On Saturday, April 19, 2025, at approximately 4:27 p.m., a life-threatening injury collision occurred at the intersection of E. Lake Mead Boulevard and N. Lamb Boulevard. Evidence at the scene and crash video indicated a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on E. Lake Mead Boulevard in a single left turn lane approaching N. Lamb Boulevard. A 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK 250 was traveling west on E. Lake Mead Boulevard, approaching N. Lamb Boulevard. The Chevrolet turned left at the intersection and traveled into the path of the approaching Mercedes-Benz. The Chevrolet's front struck the Mercedes-Benz's front. Arriving medical personnel transported both drivers and the passengers of the Mercedes-Benz to the University Medical Center's Trauma Unit. Both drivers and two passengers of the Mercedes-Benz were treated for minor injuries and released from the hospital. A third passenger of the Mercedes-Benz sustained life-threatening injuries and was admitted. Driver impairment was not a factor in the collision. The collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section.
