FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On June 25, 2025, at approximately 2:53 a.m., LVMPD Communications received a call regarding gunfire in the 500 block of Royal Crest Circle. Patrol officers responded and located an apartment with a broken window and an open door. Officers were able to observe a male lying on the floor inside the apartment, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medical personnel were requested, and the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
LVMPD Homicide detectives responded and took over the investigation. They learned another male ran from the apartment to a vehicle moments after the shooting. The vehicle then drove off at a high rate of speed from the apartment complex.
The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, can be obtained through the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
