DUI driver arrested after critical injury collision.

On July 20, 2025, at approximately 9:27 PM, a critical injury collision occurred on East Warm Springs Road at Amigo Street. Evidence at the scene and statements from witnesses indicate that a 2018 Jeep Wrangler traveled westbound on East Warm Springs Road, approaching Amigo Street. A 2014 Jeep Cherokee traveled eastbound on East Warm Springs Road, approaching Amigo Street. A collision occurred when the Wrangler conducted a left turn as the Cherokee reached the intersection. The collision redirected both vehicles to the east, where they came to rest.

Arriving emergency medical personnel transported the passenger of the Cherokee to Sunrise Hospital’s Trauma Center, where she remains in critical condition. Both drivers remained at the collision scene, and the driver of the Wrangler was suspected of being impaired. She was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges related to the collision. The collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section.
