 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On July 22nd, 2025, at approximately 10:32 p.m., a fatal vehicle versus multiple vehicles collision occurred on South Decatur Boulevard and Faircenter Drive. Evidence at the scene and driver statements indicated that a 2023 Ram 1500 was traveling northbound on South Decatur Boulevard approaching Faircenter Drive. A 2022 Nissan Altima was stopped northbound in the only left turn on South Decatur Boulevard at Faircenter Drive. A 2021 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound on South Decatur Boulevard approaching Faircenter Drive. A collision occurred when the Ram failed to maintain its travel lane as it approached the intersection. The left side of the Ram collided with the right side of the Nissan, causing the Ram to veer into oncoming traffic. The Front of
the Ram then collided with the front of the Silverado in the intersection.

Emergency Medical Services immediately responded to the collision scene and transported the driver of the Ram 1500 to University Medical Center's Trauma Unit. The driver and occupants of the Silverado were also transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

On July 26th, 2025, the driver of the Ram was pronounced deceased by University Medical Center Trauma staff and notified the Clark County Office of the Coroner/ Medical Examiner. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section was then informed by the Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner. The driver's death marks the 96th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction for the year 2025. The collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section.
