Single vehicle rollover marks the 98th and 99th traffic-related fatalities in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Jurisdiction for the year 2025.
On July 29, 2025, at approximately 5:41 PM, a single vehicle rollover collision occurred on Tecopa Springs Road at Mile Marker 1. Evidence at the collision scene indicated a 2008 BMW 328i was traveling northbound on Tecopa Springs Road at Mile Marker 1 at an excessive speed. For an unknown reason, the BMW left the roadway to the right, entered the desert area, and overturned several times. The driver of the BMW was ejected from the vehicle. The right front passenger of the BMW remained in the vehicle.
Arriving medical personnel determined both the driver and passenger of the BMW were beyond medical intervention and were pronounced deceased at the collision scene.
This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section.
