Sexual Assault Detectives Seek Additional Victims

On July 21, 2025, LVMPD was contacted regarding a nine-year-old juvenile who had been inappropriately touched by a family friend who was later identified as 74-year-old Thomas Dodd. Due to the details provided, LVMPD Sexual Assault Detectives took over the investigation.
Detectives learned that Dodd met the victim and family through a local church. On July 9, 2025, Dodd invited the victim over to his house to watch movies. While watching the movie he inappropriately touched the victim and had the victim touch his genitals.
At this time, detectives believe that Dodd may have additional victims. Dodd was arrested on July 24, 2025, and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for Lewdness with a Child Less than 14 years old (4 counts).
