FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On August 22, 2025, at approximately 9:35 p.m., LVMPD dispatch received reports of two males fighting in the wash area near Algonquin Drive and Viking Road. When officers arrived, they located one male lying on the ground suffering from apparent stab wounds. The other male had fled the scene. Officers immediately rendered aid until medical personnel arrived and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
This is an ongoing investigation being led by the LVMPD Homicide Section.
The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
