Vehicle vs Pedestrian / E. Cheyenne Ave. west of N. Lamb Blvd. / Life-Threatening Injury Collision

On September 25, 2025, at approximately 5:02 p.m., a vehicle versus pedestrian collision occurred on East Cheyenne Avenue, west of North Lamb Boulevard. Evidence at the scene, as well as video footage of the collision, indicated that a 2008 Honda Civic was traveling westbound on Cheyenne Avenue in the left of three westbound travel lanes (T1). A pedestrian was running southbound across Cheyenne Avenue, outside of a marked or implied crosswalk. The collision occurred when the pedestrian entered the left westbound travel lane and was struck by the front of the Honda.

Arriving medical personnel transported the pedestrian to University Medical Center’s Trauma Unit, where his injuries were determined to be life-threatening. The driver of the Honda remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.

This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section.
