Man Dies from Stab Wound Suffered at a Park
Update – Suspect Arrested
Through the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify 45-year-old Darnell Davis as the suspect in this case. On October 14, 2025, Davis was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon.

On October 13, 2025, at approximately 4:29 p.m., LVMPD Crime Scene Analysts received notification from the Clark County Coroner’s Office of a deceased male at a local hospital. The coroner stated the individual had died from a stab wound.
LVMPD homicide detectives were notified and took over the investigation.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned that a medical call for service was received at 11:10 a.m. The call was referencing a male suffering from an unknown medical issue at a park in the 800 block of West Lake Mead Boulevard. Medical personnel arrived, quickly determined the male had an apparent stab wound, and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
This is an ongoing investigation led by the LVMPD Homicide Section.
The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
