On October 25th, 2025, at approximately 10:22 p.m., a fatal pickup truck vs motorcycle collision occurred at the intersection of Frank Sinatra Drive and Reno Avenue. Evidence at the scene and surveillance video indicated that a 2021 Toyota Tacoma was attempting a left turn from southbound Frank Sinatra Drive to eastbound Reno Avenue. A 2016 Suzuki GSX-R 750 was traveling northbound in the rightmost of two travel lanes on Frank Sinatra Drive south of the intersection with Reno Avenue. A collision occurred when the Toyota turned left into the motorcycle's path of travel.
Emergency Medical Services responded to the collision and began life-saving measures. Despite all life-saving efforts, the motorcycle rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The truck driver remained at the scene of the collision and cooperated with the investigation. The driver showed no signs of impairment.
The motorcycle rider’s death marks the 131st traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction for the year 2025. The collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section.
