Female Killed in Shooting at Motel

On October 29, 2025, at approximately 10:50 p.m., LVMPD patrol officers were conducting proactive enforcement in the area of Eastern Avenue and Fremont Street when they heard what they believed to be gunshots coming from a nearby motel. Officers arrived at the motel located in the 2100 block of Fremont Street and located a female suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The officers immediately rendered aid to the female until medical personnel arrived. Unfortunately, she was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Homicide detectives were notified and responded to the scene. This is an ongoing investigation.
The identification of the decedent, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
