Pedestrian's death marks the 134th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction for the year 2025.

On November 5, 2025, at 4:47 PM, a fatal vehicle versus pedestrian collision occurred on Paradise Road, south of Naples Drive. Evidence at the collision scene, video surveillance, and driver statements indicate that a 2015 Toyota Rav4 was traveling southbound on Paradise Road, south of Naples Drive, in the second of five travel lanes. A pedestrian was crossing Paradise Road, south of Naples Drive, outside of a marked crosswalk and entered the path of the Toyota. A collision occurred when the front of the Toyota contacted the pedestrian, projecting him onto the roadway. The Toyota came to a controlled stop south of the collision.

Arriving emergency medical personnel determined the pedestrian was beyond resuscitation and ceased lifesaving
efforts.

The Toyota driver remained at the scene of the collision and showed no signs of impairment.

This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section.
