 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

***Vehicle versus vehicle versus Freightliner truck with trailer versus pedestrian traffic collision that resulted in the death of the pedestrian. The pedestrian's death marks the 133rd traffic-related fatality for the year 2025.***

On November 5, 2025, at approximately 1:39 p.m., a fatal traffic collision occurred on S. Valley View Boulevard north of Regulus Avenue. Evidence at the collision scene, video surveillance, and witness statements indicated a pedestrian was walking on the east sidewalk of S. Valley View Boulevard north of Regulus Avenue. A Freightliner truck with a flat bed trailer was traveling northbound on S. Valley View Boulevard at Regulus Avenue in the right most travel lane. A Ford F150 was traveling northbound on S. Valley View Boulevard at Regulus Avenue in the left most travel lane. A RAM 1500 was traveling northbound on S. Valley View Boulevard in the middle travel lane.

The Ford F150 began to move to the middle lane and the RAM 1500 swerved right causing the left rear tire to strike the Ford F150 in the right rear. The RAM 1500's right side then struck the Freightliner truck's left front. The RAM 1500 then left the roadway to the right onto the east sidewalk and struck the pedestrian.

Arriving medical personnel transported the pedestrian to UMC Trauma for advanced medical intervention. Despite all life-saving measures, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by medical staff at UMC Trauma. Impairment is not suspected on any of the drivers.

 This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section.
