***Fatal hit and run results in 137th traffic-related fatality, vehicles still outstanding***

On November 8, 2025, at approximately 7:42 p.m., a fatal vehicle collision occurred on North Nellis Boulevard, north of East Monroe Avenue. Evidence at the scene and video surveillance indicate that a light-colored sedan traveled northbound on North Nellis Boulevard north of East Monroe Avenue in the middle travel lane. A pedestrian was crossing North Nellis Boulevard, north of East Monroe Avenue, outside of a marked crosswalk, and entered the path of the vehicle. A collision occurred when the front of the vehicle struck the pedestrian, causing her to be projected onto the roadway. The vehicle then stopped briefly before fleeing the scene north on North Nellis Boulevard. Seconds later, a second vehicle travels over the downed pedestrian. The second vehicle pulls over into a nearby business, and two occupants exit the vehicle, walk back to the collision scene, and then leave the scene in their vehicle.

Arriving emergency medical personnel determined the pedestrian was beyond resuscitation and ceased life-saving efforts. The pedestrian's death marked the 137th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction for 2025. The collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section.
