Pedestrian suffers serious injuries in traffic collision.

On November 11th, 2025, at approximately 4:38 p.m., a serious injury vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision occurred on Lake Mead Boulevard east of Peaceful Spirit Lane. Evidence at the scene, witness statements, and surveillance footage indicated that a 2019 Nissan Rogue was traveling east on Lake Mead Boulevard in the outside eastbound travel lane. East of Peaceful Spirit Lane, a pedestrian was crossing southbound across Lake Mead Boulevard, in heavy traffic, outside of a marked crosswalk. The Nissan’s driver applied the vehicle’s brakes and swerved to avoid the pedestrian, but a collision was imminent.

The pedestrian was transported by ground ambulance to UMC Trauma with injuries determined to be serious by Trauma Staff.

The Nissan’s driver remained at the collision scene and showed no signs of impairment.

This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section.
