Pedestrian succumbs to injuries sustained in collision, resulting in the 140th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction for the year 2025.

On November 13, 2025, at approximately 8:01 PM, a serious injury collision occurred in the intersection of East Desert Inn Road and Brussels Street. Evidence at the collision scene indicated that a 2016 Toyota 4Runner traveled eastbound on Desert Inn Road, approaching Brussels Street in the left-most travel lane. A pedestrian was standing in the center shared turn lane of Desert Inn while crossing outside of a marked or implied crosswalk. The driver of the Toyota entered the shared center turn lane to make a left turn into a private drive. A collision occurred when the front left of the Toyota contacted the pedestrian. The pedestrian was projected onto the roadway.

Emergency medical personnel transported the pedestrian to Sunrise Hospital with injuries determined to be nonlife-threatening. Considering the extent of injuries at the time, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section was not requested and did not respond to the collision.

The driver of the Toyota remained at the collision scene and showed no signs of impairment.

On November 14, 2025, the Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section and advised that the pedestrian had succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased on November 14, 2025, at Sunrise Hospital.

This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section.
