An automobile versus pedestrian collision resulted in the 142nd traffic-related fatality.
On November 18, 2025, at approximately 4:29 AM, a fatal vehicle versus pedestrian collision occurred at East Charleston Boulevard and North Lamb Boulevard. Evidence at the scene, witness statements, and video surveillance indicate a 2018 Honda Accord traveled westbound on East Charleston Boulevard, approaching North Lamb Boulevard. A pedestrian traveled northbound through the intersection with a push cart, in the west crosswalk, against the pedestrian “Don’t Walk” signal. A collision occurred when the Honda reached the intersection with a green traffic signal, and the pedestrian entered its travel path. The Honda struck the pedestrian, redirecting him west as the Honda came to a stop.
Arriving emergency medical personnel transported the pedestrian to University Medical Center. Shortly after his arrival, he succumbed to his injuries despite all life-saving efforts. The driver of the Honda remained at the collision scene and was not impaired. The pedestrian’s death marked the 142nd traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction for 2025. The collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section.
