On December 4, 2025, the Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner (CCOCME) contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Fatal Detail and advised that the passenger in the Nissan Altima had succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased on December 4, 2025. The death of the Nissan Altima's passenger marks the 161st traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Jurisdiction for the year 2025. This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section.

***Vehicle versus multiple vehicles traffic collision that caused the death of a driver and passenger. This collision marks the 143rd and 144th traffic related fatalities for the year 2025.***

On November 18, 2025, at approximately 3:29 p.m., a vehicle versus eleven vehicles fatal traffic collision occurred on W. Cheyenne Avenue west of N. Jones Boulevard. Evidence at the collision scene, witness statements, and video surveillance indicated an Infiniti G37 was traveling eastbound on W. Cheyenne Avenue approaching N. Jones Boulevard and multiple vehicles stopped for a red traffic signal at a high rate of speed. A collision occurred when the driver of the Infiniti failed to slow his vehicle and collided with the stopped vehicles.

Arriving medical personnel began triaging the injured people involved in the collision and determined the passenger of the Infiniti and a driver from another vehicle were beyond medical resuscitation and were pronounced deceased at the collision scene. Multiple other people involved in the collision were transported to UMC Trauma for advanced medical intervention, with one person remaining in life-threatening condition and one person remaining in serious condition.

The driver of the Infiniti was transported to UMC Trauma for advanced medical intervention, where he remains for continuous care. He was booked in absentia at UMC for 4 counts of reckless driving resulting in death or substantial bodily harm.

This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section.
