Original Press Release

On October 17, 2025, at approximately 12:14 a.m., LVMPD Communications received a report from a male saying he was being shot at by a vehicle that was chasing him near Lindell Road and Robindale Road. Subsequently, additional calls were received reporting a traffic collision in the same area, and that unknown males were jumping walls and running through yards near the crash scene.

When patrol officers arrived, they located two crashed vehicles and a female lying in the street suffering from apparent injuries from being ejected from a vehicle. Officers immediately started rendering aid until medical arrived and pronounced her deceased. All other occupants of the two vehicles had fled.

A short time later, a male was found nearby suffering from wounds sustained in a crash. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both LVMPD fatal and homicide detectives responded to the scene.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned the deceased victim and the male transported to the hospital were driving home, when another vehicle started following them. Someone from that vehicle shot at the victims causing them to accelerate. The victim lost control of their vehicle and wrecked causing both the male and female to be ejected. The other vehicle was unable to stop in time and collided with the wrecked vehicle. All occupants of the second vehicle fled the scene and are still outstanding.

Anyone with any information about this incident is urged to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section by phone at 702-828-3521, or by email at homicide@lvmpd.com. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 702-385-5555, or on the internet at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
