LVMPD and FBI Provide Details on Joint Investigation
This afternoon, LVMPD Sheriff Kevin McMahill along with the FBI Special Agent in Charge Christopher Delzotto of the Las Vegas Field Office provided information on a joint investigation involving a possible biological laboratory located inside a residence.
On January 31, 2026, the LVMPD SWAT team assisted the FBI in the service of a search warrant at a residence on Sugar Springs Drive in Northeast Las Vegas. During the service of the search warrant, investigators discovered evidence of possible biological material to include refrigerators with vials containing unknown liquids. The LVMPD ARMOR team are working with the FBI, local fire departments, and other state partners to ensure the proper recovery and mitigation of these items.
At the same time, the FBI searched a second home on Temple View Drive. There was no threat found at that residence. This remains an ongoing investigation.
