E-bicyclist's death marks the 31st traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction for the year 2026.

On March 19, 2026, at approximately 1:57 PM, a fatal vehicle versus e-bicycle collision occurred on South 15th Street and East Bridger Avenue. Evidence at the collision scene and witness statements indicated a 2018 Kia Sorento was traveling south on 15th Street, approaching the intersection of Bridger Avenue. An e-bicyclist was traveling east on Bridger Avenue, approaching the intersection of 15th Street. The e-bicyclist failed to stop for a posted stop sign and entered the intersection. A collision occurred when the e-bicyclist entered the path of the Kia, and the front-right of the Kia contacted the front of the e-bike. The e-bicyclist was ejected from the e-bicycle and onto the roadway.

Emergency medical personnel arrived and determined the e-bicyclist was beyond medical resuscitation, and was pronounced deceased at the collision scene. The occupants of the Kia remained at the collision scene and claimed no injuries.

This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section.
