FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On May 21st, 2026, at approximately 10:37 a.m., a life-threatening collision occurred at the intersection of East Desert Inn Road and South Cambridge Street. Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated that a 2025 Hyundai Elantra was traveling westbound on Desert Inn Road and completing a left turn on a flashing yellow arrow turn signal onto southbound Cambridge Street. A 2022 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Desert Inn Road in the rightmost of three travel lanes approaching the intersection with Cambridge Street. A 2017 Chevrolet Equinox was northbound on Cambridge Street, stopped for a solid red traffic signal, and set up for a right turn at the intersection with Desert Inn Road.
