Shooting Leaves One Dead
Update – Additional Suspect Arrested
Through the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify a 16-year-old juvenile as a suspect in this case. On July 23, 2026, the suspect was located and taken into custody. She was booked into the Clark County Detention Center for Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon, Attempt Murder with a Deadly Weapon, and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.

On July 18, 2026, at approximately 5:18 a.m., LVMPD Communications received a report of an unresponsive male near South Hollywood Boulevard and East Park Access Road. Arriving officers and medical personnel located the male laying on the ground suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The LVMPD Homicide Section was notified and responded to the scene. Detectives believe the victim was in the area with a group of people when the shooting occurred. The suspect(s) fled prior to officers arriving. This is an ongoing investigation.
The identification of the decedent, as well as the cause and manner of death, can be obtained through the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
