Update – Third Suspect Arrested

Through the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify 20-year-old Khalil Ratcliff as an additional suspect in this case. On July 30, 2026, Ratcliff was extradited from the Santa Clara County Jail and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon, Attempt Robbery with Use of a Deadly Weapon, Discharge Gun at/into Occupied Structure/Vehicle, and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.

On April 10, 2026, at approximately 6:29 p.m., LVMPD officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 5700 block of Missouri Avenue. Patrol officers arrived and located a male inside a vehicle that collided with a building suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the individual deceased at the scene.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned three male suspects approached the victim while he was sitting in his vehicle. A brief interaction occurred and at some point, one of the suspects began to shoot at the victim, who subsequently fled in his car and then crashed into a nearby structure. The suspects fled the area prior to police arriving.

This is an ongoing investigation led by the LVMPD Homicide Section.

The identification of the decedent, as well as the cause and manner of death, can be obtained through the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
