On February 3, 2024, at approximately 1:36 a.m., LVMPD officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance call in then the 4900 block of Chantilly Avenue. Arriving officers located an unresponsive female suffering from apparent stab wounds inside of the residence. Medical personnel responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
The investigation by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicated the victim was involved in a verbal argument with her husband, 53-year-old Moises Sanchez before he stabbed her.
Sanchez was placed under arrest and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for open murder.
The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
