Alternatives to Incarceration (ATI) Electronic Monitoring Program (EMP)
The LVMPD Alternatives to Incarceration (ATI) Electronic Monitoring Program (EMP) is an electronic supervision program administered by the Sheriff of Clark County. The program provides a court-approved alternative to incarceration at the Clark County Detention Center (CCDC), in accordance with Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) Chapter 211.
Participation in the program is authorized by the court as a condition of bail or own recognizance release for individuals charged with a criminal offense in the Justice or District Courts of Clark County.
The program is based on participant consent, cooperation, and compliance with court-ordered conditions.
Participants are required to:
- Wear a GPS electronic monitoring device
- Follow court-ordered restrictions and supervision requirements
- Comply with all program rules and reporting procedures
Individuals placed in the program are assigned one of two supervision levels:
- Medium-Level Supervision
- High-Level Supervision
Each supervision level has specific rules, monitoring requirements, and restrictions based on court orders and individual risk factors.
Program Contracts
Contracts outlining the rules and conditions for both supervision levels are posted below as required. These contracts are also provided in person to individuals who meet eligibility requirements and are approved for participation.
