Assistant Sheriff Jamie ProsserAssistant Sheriff Jamie Prosser holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and has been employed with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for 21 years (2002 – current).

Prosser was appointed as Deputy Chief of the Professional Standards Division in November of 2021. The Professional Standards Division was composed of the Internal Affairs Bureau, Office of Human Resources, Organizational Development Bureau, Police Employee Assistance Program and the Metro Volunteer Program.

In December of 2022, Prosser was transferred as Deputy Chief of the Homeland Security and Special Operations Division where she oversaw Air Support, Special Weapons and Tactics, Events Planning and the Southern Nevada Counter-terrorism Center.

Prosser was promoted to Assistant Sheriff of the Law Enforcement Operations Group in July of 2023. In addition to overseeing all law enforcement operations, Prosser sits on numerous boards on behalf of the department.
