Officer Donald C. Weese joined the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on September 11, 1990.
On the night of October 23, 1992, Officer Weese was responding to a call involving a gun when his patrol car collided with another vehicle and then struck a traffic signal pole at the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Eastern Avenue. Officer Weese died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash. He was 25 years old.
