The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) is currently seeking qualified, committed individuals to serve as voting members of the LVMPD Use of Force Review Board (UFRB). Applicants must speak, read, and write English, and must be residents of Clark County. Applicants who have a history of serious criminal activity, who have worked in the law enforcement field, or who are related to a current employee of the LVMPD are not eligible to apply.

Successful candidates will be instructed to complete a drug/urine test, provide fingerprints to LVMPD Records/Fingerprint Bureau and attend a three hour orientation. This thorough orientation will cover all procedures governing the UFRB and related processes.

The term for UFRB Members is three years. During this term, members will be expected to serve on multiple meetings of the Board throughout the year and will be asked to be available, on a rotating basis, to respond to critical incident scenes and observe LVMPD Critical Incident Review Team (CIRT) members as they investigate incidents involving the use of deadly force by LVMPD officers.

Interested candidates are asked to complete the UFRB Citizen Board Member application form and waiver. Completed forms can be emailed to CIRTAdmin@lvmpd.com or mailed to:
