Violent Gun Crime Unit

The Violent Gun Crimes Unit investigates violent crimes involving firearms and supports LVMPD efforts to reduce gun violence. The unit works with other investigative and enforcement personnel to develop leads, identify individuals connected to firearm-related offenses and support appropriate enforcement and prosecution.

Gun Disposition Detail

The Gun Disposition Detail reviews and provides final approval for the disposition of firearms, ammunition and related property impounded by LVMPD in accordance with Department policy.
