Wellness Bureau Clinicians

Wellness Bureau clinicians understand the unique challenges law enforcement professionals may experience. Seeking their support is voluntary, confidential, and available at no cost.

Our clinicians are licensed therapists with extensive experience working within law enforcement culture. They offer a range of therapeutic approaches and collectively hold more than a dozen specialized certifications. As licensed professionals, they are bound by the confidentiality requirements of their professional licensing boards.

Because clinicians are employed by LVMPD, services do not require insurance and there are no fees or copays. Their focus is not on labeling or diagnosing employees—it is on providing treatment, support, and practical tools to help them thrive.

Behavioral Healthcare Options (BHO)

Behavioral Healthcare Options (BHO) provides counseling services to LVMPD employees and their families. Eligible participants may receive three no-cost counseling sessions each calendar year. Additional sessions may be covered through the applicable health plan and may require a copayment.
