LVMPD ARMOR (CBRNE)
The LVMPD All-Hazard Regional Multi-agency Operations and
Response (ARMOR) Section is a collaborative effort integrating multiple Law
Enforcement Agencies of Southern Nevada in the detection, response, mitigation
and investigation of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive
(CBRNE) incidents. The section is one of the few that conduct operations
and investigations simultaneously. The
unit also provides support to all valley SWAT teams in the areas of robotics,
CBRNE subject matter expertise as well as SWAT operator respiratory needs as
required.
