Crime reports and traffic collision reports can be filed at any of the area commands, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays. You can also file your report at Records and Fingerprint Bureau, located at 400 S. Martin L. King Blvd., Building C. They are open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday including most holidays (closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day) and from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Depending on the type of report you need to file, you may also be able to make the report over the phone. When you call our non-emergency number 3-1-1, or (702) 828-3111, you can tell the call taker you would like to file the report over the phone and they will assist you.
Victims of mailbox break-ins and theft should call the U. S. Postal Service at this toll free number: 877-876-2455.
