Crime reports and traffic collision reports can be filed at any of the area commands. You can also file your report at Records and Fingerprint Bureau, located at 400 S. Martin L. King Blvd., Building C. They are open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday including most holidays (closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day) and from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Depending on the type of report you need to file, you may also be able to make the report over the phone. When you call our non-emergency number 3-1-1, or (702) 828-3111, you can tell the call taker you would like to file the report over the phone and they will assist you.
Victims of mailbox break-ins and theft should call the U. S. Postal Service at this toll free number: 877-876-2455.
