The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) provides digital LiveScan fingerprinting services for citizens who require fingerprint cards for a multitude of purposes. There is no ink involved in providing a LiveScan fingerprinting service. LVMPD employees will roll your fingerprints across a glass screen, which are then digitized and printed on fingerprint cards that meet federal requirements. Examples include licensing, education, volunteering, government agency requirement, and legal needs.
This type of fingerprinting service does not include the electronic submission of fingerprints to specific agencies.
