Multi-Housing Safety Class
About the Class
The Multi-Housing Safety Class is designed to help property managers, staff, and residents reduce crime and improve safety in rental communities. The program emphasizes collaboration between law enforcement, property management, and residents to address common safety concerns.
Participants learn how criminal activity can impact rental properties and how to identify and address vulnerabilities. The training provides practical tools to strengthen property security and improve communication with law enforcement.
The class is required for property managers overseeing more than four units under Clark County and City of Las Vegas ordinances.
Classes are approximately two hours long and are offered in both morning and afternoon sessions.

Class Schedule

All classes are held at LVMPD Headquarters.
- September 17, 2026 — 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Attendance Policy
Please ensure you are available for your selected session before registering.
If you do not attend your registered class, you will not be eligible to register again for six months.

The Multi-Housing Safety Class supports safer rental communities through education, crime prevention strategies, and collaboration between property managers, residents, and law enforcement.
