Multi-Housing Safety Class
The success of the Multi-Housing Safety Class stems from its multifaceted approach to combating crime. Recognizing that police, property management, and residents cannot tackle crime individually, collaboration among these stakeholders has proven to be the most effective strategy in addressing crime within rental communities.
Criminal activity typically infiltrates a rental community in three ways: through residents with criminal intent, visitors with criminal associations, or opportunistic criminals taking advantage of existing vulnerabilities. The Multi-Housing Safety Class tackles all three scenarios.
The training is mandated by both Clark County Ordinance (6.12.090) and City of Las Vegas Code (6.09.020) for property managers overseeing more than four units. This training equips managers with essential tools and strategies for strengthening property security measures while fostering positive relationships with local law enforcement and community residents.
The class is taught in a single, 2-hour long class, and you have your choice of a morning or afternoon session. If you do not show up for your registered class, you will not be able to take the class for 6 months.
