LVMPD Explorers working at a dispatch console, using multiple monitors and a headset to monitor calls and coordinate responsesThe LVMPD Law Enforcement Explorer Program is a volunteer program that introduces young adults to careers in law enforcement. Explorers gain hands-on experience in specialized areas including Crime Scene Investigation, Corrections, Dispatch, and Police operations. In addition to technical training, the program helps develop leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and personal fitness.
