Corrections Explorers
What Corrections Explorers Do
Corrections Explorers gain experience inside the Clark County Detention Center (CCDC), a facility that houses more than 3,000 inmates and processes over 70,000 bookings each year. Explorers learn how to operate access control systems, monitor cameras, and observe inmate movement to help ensure safety within the facility.
During post observations, Corrections Explorers work alongside Corrections Officers in areas such as intake and release, housing modules, and other operational units within the detention center.
